How We Met:
We had just gotten back from summer vacation and fall semester was one day in. Everyone was going to East Gate Lanes to celebrate being back in town, as Monday night bowling was the thing to do! I had just gotten my American cell phone that morning, and was pretty excited about it but I didn’t have any numbers in it yet. Greg willingly offered to give me his. So he put my number in his phone also and set it to Kevin Little’s "You Turn Me On" (so cliché!). He had broken his ankle earlier in the summer and was still on crutches, and unable to bowl. He brought his "tower" of beer to a table with me where he put in a solid 2 hours! We talked all night, and really got to know each other. I knew that he was a hockey guy, and I didn’t want to be lead on – so after only 2 more days of hanging out I laid it out on the line and asked if we were going to be together...or if I was wasting my time. He said "together"…and it has been wonderful ever since!
